The new facelift Lotus Elise is an update of the revolutionary mid-engine which first hit the streets 14 years ago. The Elise has been described as a go-cart for adults with its agile handling coupled with a nippy 1.8 engine to produce a very finely balanced car at home in the busy city or on the track.
Those wonderful people over at Bentley have released some nice pictures and some specs of their latest Continental Supersports Convertible. This along with their claim that this is “the fastest four seat convertible in the world” provides some good reading.
The engine is their legendary twin-turbo W12 engine producing 621 bhp / 463 kW which will take the car from standing to 60 mph in a blistering 3.9 seconds and continues on to a top speed of 202mph(325 km/h).
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Inspires New Cigarette Racing Boat
Two legendary performance brands - Mercedes AMG and Cigarette Racing - unveiled a custom Cigarette Racing boat and the SLS AMG, which inspired its design, at a special preview at the Miami International Boat Show on Thursday, February 11. Both the Cigarette Boat and SLS AMG are on display at the boat show until Monday, February 15, 2010.
At this year’s Geneva Motor show Jaguar will has confirmed details of two new packages for its XKR coupe. The two packs known as the Speed Pack and Speed & Black Pack in the UK at costs of £3,500 and £4,000, respectively. These packs are only being made available for the XKR coupe range, but who knows if successful may become available for other models.
Next month Geneva motor show is billed to be rather impressive this with a large number of new models being predicted.
Another company to enter this years Geneva motor show with an upgrade is the company Techart with their aerodynamic and personalization kits for the new 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S face-lifts. The new kits are only a refresh of the previous kits available for the pre-face-lifted 997.
